• C-MEC (Cleveland Mechanical Equipment Company) -- A distributor of commercial
filtration equipment and chemical control equipment to the municipal drinking
water industry and industrial facilities.
• Visual Vacuum Filter Company -- A manufacturer of a vacuum diatomaceous earth
filter to the swimming pool, industrial, zoological and special application
facilities.
Board of Municipal Utilities, City of Avon Lake, Avon
Lake, Ohio, 1996 - Present
City of Avon Lake Department of Municipal Utilities is
a water treatment facility with a current capacity of 40 MGD water plant and a 6
MGD waste water treatment plant.
Chairman of the Board since July 1999. During this period, the Department has
increased the plant capacity from 27 MGD to 40 MGD, built a 23 mile water
distribution line ETL 2 in conjunction with RLCWA and the City and County of
Medina to supply water to those areas, and has written its strategic plan.
The Board develops policy, hires the management team, maintains fiduciary
responsibility and creates and insures implementation the strategic plan.
Board members are elected by the residents of Avon Lake.
